The Anthony Cumia Show
The Anthony Cumia Show is an internet-based talk and commentary podcast that began on August 4, 2014, as the flagship program of Anthony Cumia's independent media venture, which eventually became Compound Media. Launched shortly after his controversial dismissal from SiriusXM in July 2014 due to "racially-charged and hate-filled remarks" made on Twitter, the show quickly established itself as a platform for Cumia's unfiltered, often provocative, and politically incorrect commentary. Over its run, the show has featured various co-hosts, including a notable period with Artie Lange from 2017-2018, when it was rebranded as "The Artie and Anthony Show," and later with Dave Landau. In 2024, Compound Media merged with Gavin McInnes's Censored.TV, creating "Compound Censored," further solidifying its niche in the independent and alternative media landscape. Beyond its origins, The Anthony Cumia Show has been embroiled in numerous controversies, largely stemming from Cumia's personal actions and public statements. These include his 2015 arrest for assaulting his then-girlfriend and subsequent guilty plea, as well as multiple suspensions and a permanent ban from Twitter for abusive behavior and ban evasion, often related to racist remarks.
